How EVPassport added $1.1M in pipeline from 10 months of LinkedIn Outbound
Challenge
EVPassport needed to reach property managers at scale - but LinkedIn outreach was a channel its sales team simply wasn’t running.
EVPassport provides EV charging infrastructure as a service: hardware, software, and operations in one subscription for the multifamily, hospitality, and parking operators that control where America’s EVs will charge. Backed by a $200 million commitment from Northleaf Capital, the company had a 16-person sales team and a mandate to scale quickly.
Its leads came from events, advertising, and the sales team’s existing networks. Those channels weren’t enough to systematically reach the thousands of property owners, managers, and asset managers capable of purchasing chargers across entire portfolios.
The buyers were scattered across property management companies and no one owned the job of reaching them directly. When the engagement began, tracked cold outreach was effectively nonexistent.
"They know what they're doing when it comes to LinkedIn, and they're great people."
Solution
Uptown ran LinkedIn outreach targeting the property owners, property managers, and asset managers who controlled facilities infrastructure decisions.
Uptown booked calls directly and delivered every positive response through a shared tracker with the conversation context EVPassport needed to take over. Dean’s team could focus on what it did best: qualifying buyers, walking sites, and advancing the right opportunities.
Uptown worked with EVPassport to:
- Target the property owners, property managers, and asset managers who controlled charging decisions across multifamily, hospitality, and parking portfolios
- Reach the senior leaders whose approval could represent hundreds of chargers across multiple properties
- Treat replies as market data, reviewing objections with EVPassport and continually refining the messaging
- Deliver every positive reply with its full context, giving Dean’s team a pipeline of warm conversations to call and convert
- Layer thought leadership content onto Dean's profile, so the buyers his outreach touched saw his name everywhere they scrolled
"I've definitely seen a huge uptick in response rates and pipeline ever since we started LinkedIn content."
Results
Ten months of outreach put EVPassport in 50 meetings and $1.1M of new pipeline - in a channel that did not exist before.
The market answered from exactly the desks EVPassport needed: portfolio property managers with garages to electrify, VPs of property management responsible for retail centers, and community managers in the middle of budget season.
During the engagement:
- 50 meetings booked in 10 months
- $1.1M+ in new pipeline generated
- 153 positive replies across 4,200+ new connections with property decision-makers
- The first full month after thought leadership content launched produced 28 positive replies - the best month of the engagement.
"Uptown's pumping out the volume and getting people to book meetings."
